On Tuesday, we evaluated Marco Polo as a figure of the Renaissance using the in-class student magazines. Hopefully a few key points stood out:
1. Marco Polo helped inspire others to connect East and West. 2. He was a symbol of the Italian trade connections of the Renaissance. 3. He was a symbol of the era in that his story was wid On Monday, we took the Plague Quiz and the map check that dealt with coastal trade centers of Europe in 1500. Overall, the scores were very high, nice work.
